Being the son of Soviet Jews, I have always valued simplicity. I feel the best designs always come from proportions - from form. In the words of Francis Bacon, “Beauty itself is but the sensible image of the Infinite.” This is the role of a designer - to shape the projection of the infinite onto our world and give meaning to everyday experiences. It is the core interaction with the user that should drive the design - the user should always remain the heart of the product.
I’m constantly looking for new challenges, and I approach new possibilities with humility and a sense of humor.
I received my individualized BS in industrial design from the University of Minnesota at Twin-Cities this spring. This degree has helped to develop me not only as a designer, but also as a person who experiences the universe more fiercly.
Being a part of the world has always been important to me. I do my best to stay active, having been a varsity alpine skier, as well as a rower on my region’s crew team and a team captain on my high school’s robotics team.
I have a deep love for experiential design, and I will bring that perspective to your team.
